SNACK BAR CLASSIC GAME INSTRUCTIONS

Manage your own snack bar

You are the owner of a snack bar with a starting capital of 10 €. The object of the game is to manage this snack bar skillfully and increase your revenue in the game length you’ve chosen.  To do this, you'll buy goods from the wholesaler, set your prices, and then sell them at your snack bar.

You have to take many factors into account when purchasing goods and calculating your prices:

  • Temperature
  • Weekdays vs. weekends. Goods can only be purchased from the wholesaler on a workday.
  • The price at which you buy the goods
  • The price at which you sell the goods

A connection to the game server is required to play the game. If you don’t have an internet connection, you can play as a GUEST. In this case, the game is limited to one week of play.

Game progress is automatically saved. If you close the app and restart it, you can continue playing from the same spot. You can also continue play from another device if you log in with the same Google Play Games account.

  1. Click here to start a new game and choose your game length (Week Credits). The selected number of weeks will be deducted from your game account. If you don't have enough Week Credits available, you can purchase additional week packs in our shop or pick up the full version of the game, which will give you unlimited Week Credits. But when you first start the game, we’ll give you 50 Week Credits, which will let you play for a good long while.
  2. Buy your goods from the wholesaler. He only comes once a day, and only on workdays. The sales rep quotes you a price, and you use the calculator to enter the purchase quantity and order from the sales rep. Note that the rep's prices vary depending on the weather and the temperature. For example, chocolate ice cream is more expensive when it's +20° then when it’s below zero. The sales rep's prices are given in cents. You can change that in Settings (7).
  3. Now set your prices. Use the calculator.  All entries are in cents unless you changed that in Settings (7). Don’t make your prices too expensive, but don't make them too cheap either. Always keep the weather in mind, too. No one wants a chocolate ice cream in sub-zero temperatures. And there’s always more business on the weekends than during the week. So always make sure you buy enough on Fridays!
  4. And now get to the grill! Hopefully you have enough products in stock and calculated the prices correctly. At the end of the day, you'll see how much you took in.
  5. Click here to see the sales statistics for the previous day. Maybe the numbers will help you when buying goods and calculating prices for the upcoming day.
  6. Don't like the music? Simply turn it off by clicking the speaker. This setting will be maintained even if the game is restarted.
  7. Want to play in US dollars rather than euros?  Or would you like to enter prices in euros/dollars rather than cents? You can change these in Settings.
  8. And here is where you find the High Score List. There are individual score high score boards for the top 100 players in each game length category. If you manage your snack bar successfully and your balance reaches the top 100 by the end of the game, you may immortalize yourself with your name here.
  9. And here is the Status Indicator. It shows you your current balance, the temperature, the weekday and week you’re in right now.
  10. This is the Flip Chart. Here you'll see your current inventory. It shows the quantity and price for every product. The prices you've set are in cents unless you've changed that in Settings.
